Bedford train station is a seven-minute walk from the pub. Trains to central London take 31 minutes and run every 10–15 minutes. Trains also service Luton Airport Parkway, Brighton, Leicester and Nottingham.
Buses run regularly to Oxford, Cambridge and Milton Keynes. Local taxis are also available.
Parking
Pay-and-display parking is available throughout the town centre. Parking at the Harpur Centre (opposite the hotel) is free on a Sunday.
River Street car park is open 24 hours a day. Parking is free on the street and in all car parks after 6pm.
Directions
Walking from the train station, turn right out of the station onto Ashburnham Road; take the left at the roundabout onto Midland Road. The hotel will be on your right-hand side, on the corner of River Street and Midland Road.
