Local attractions

Bewdley is the ideal place to stay when visiting the Severn Valley Railway, West Midland Safari Park (1.5 miles from the town centre) and Go Ape, located in the Wyre Forest. Bewdley is also very popular for fishing and golfing, with our nearest golf clubs being Wharton Park, Bewdley Pines and Little Lakes.

Local transport

The nearest train station is Kidderminster, approximately 15 minutes’ drive away. There are regular bus services to Kidderminster, Bridgenorth and Ludlow. The bus stops are adjacent to the hotel.

Parking

We have limited on-site parking for hotel guests only. Spaces cannot be guaranteed and are on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. The only car park entrance is located directly behind the pub’s beer garden, off Dog Lane, between Elim Riverside Church and Bewdley Farm Shop (DY12 2EF). Please note that this has a narrow entrance (a vehicle 1.77m wide will fit). Any larger vehicles will be unable to use this car park, as they cannot get through. Also, under no circumstances (owing to council licensing restrictions) is the delivery entrance to be used. Alternative council pay-and-display car-parking is available next to the hotel, off Load Street and Dog Lane. This is not covered by our free parking – so hotel guests will need to pay for this. Please read full information at reception, where you can also register your car’s details.

Directions

Off the main A456, join the B4190 (Kidderminster Road/Cleobury Road); this will bring you straight into the town centre and onto Load Street. Kidderminster train station is only a 15-minute car journey away, with buses running regularly between the two towns.
