We have 19 rooms – doubles, twins and family rooms (two of which are accessible rooms). All rooms have unlimited free Wi-Fi, which continues also throughout the adjoining pub, as well as being en suite, with Freeview television, built-in USB ports, complimentary bottled water and tea- and coffee-making facilities.

We serve breakfast during 7am–noon, with our full food menu until 11pm daily.

Local attractions

Dunfermline is the home of Dunfermline Abbey, a popular tourist attraction, 5–10 minutes’ walk from the hotel.

Dunfermline Glen hosts various events throughout the year and is very popular with families.

The Alhambra Theatre and Carnegie Conference Centre are within five minutes’ walk of the hotel.

Local transport

The bus station is a two-minute walk away, with links to Dundee, St Andrews, Perth, Stirling, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Fife.

There are two park-and-ride stations, with regular buses running into Dunfermline.

The railway station is a 15-minute walk from the hotel, again with links to the main surrounding areas, as above.

There is a taxi rank within two minutes’ walk of the hotel.

Local long- and short-stay car parks are available throughout the town.

Directions

By car

Exit the M90 at junction 3. From the north at the roundabout, take the fourth exit onto the A907. From the south at the roundabout, take the second exit onto the A907. At the roundabout, take the second exit and continue on Halbeath Road. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto East Port. East Port turns left and becomes New Row. Continue down the hill to find the pay-and-display car park on the left-hand side. On foot, walk back to the entrance of the car park and turn right. Walk up the hill and turn left at the pedestrian crossing. The hotel is located approximately 100m along High Street on your left.

By bus

Turn left out of the bus station then right onto Cross Wynd. At the bottom of the hill, turn left onto High Street; the hotel is opposite you on the right.

By rail

Alight from the train at Dunfermline Town station. Head west towards St Margarets Drive/A823. Turn right towards West Drive. Turn right onto West Drive. Turn left onto Park Avenue. Turn right onto New Row. Turn left onto High Street. The hotel is 100m on your left.

From Edinburgh airport

By car

Follow signs for the Forth Bridge. Once you have crossed the bridge, follow the M90 north and use the directions above.

By bus

Take the 747 bus to Ferrytoll, then change for Dunfermline bus station.
